Hello gorgeous! Thanks for visiting the blog today! Today I have a polish from the Modern Family collection by Nicole by OPI to show you. I admit, I do not watch the show, I've never seen it, but that doesn't mean the nail polish collection isn't cool!
This is Back in my Gloria Days and it's a red based purple shimmer. My photos simply do not do this one justice! It's super shimmery and catches the light just beautifully. It's also quite a red based purple (vs. blue based purple) and I don't think the camera caught that.
The formula on this is okay but you absolutely need to do three coats. These first two pictures are two coats. As you can see, there are some bald spots and the overall look isn't so hot:
Once you add the third coat you have a beautiful manicure. Everything evens out and the color even gets prettier. The third coat gets rid of all visible balding and the end result is a really pretty shimmery pruple.
