SpaRitual: Conglomerate

Good morning everyone! I hope you're all having a great day! Before I get into the nail polish I want to share a photos from  my weekend. My close friend Sarah is having a baby and Sunday was her baby shower! He's a great photo of me with my fellow Disney Brides. We all had a Disney wedding and met and became great friends because of it. I love these ladies.

Me, Kathy, Sarah, Danni and Jessica:

So on to the nail polish. I purchased this polish months ago and haven't gotten around to wearing it until now.  This is SpaRitual's Conglomerate

Conglomerate is a charcoal color with a gold shimmer and silver and black glitter. This is a really interesting color combo and I don't have anything else like it in my collection at all. The gold shimmer really makes this very interesting.  I love this color!

The formula is a bit tricky to deal with. It's really thick and gooey. I used two coats for opacity and had no issues with balding or streaking. The wear on this wasn't great and around day 3 I was able to peel all of it off.

What do you think of this one? Do you have a favorite from SpaRitual? I don't see the line around a lot but they do have some fantastic and unique colors.

SpaRitual: A World of Compassion & some fun news!

Hi Everyone! I hope all is well in your neighborhood. Thanks for coming by the blog today!!! I have some fun news! My blog was featured in Woman's World Magazine for the month of August! That issue hit stands today so be sure to check it out! Some other amazing polish blogers were in the feature too.  It's so fun! I am so excited to have contributed and so honored that they approached me to be involved.  It's in the "You Deserve the Best..." feature which focuses on nail polish this issue.  Let me know if you see it!

Today I want to share a color from SpaRitual with you.  This is called A World of Compassion which of course I spelled completely wrong in my watermark, oops! Sorry!!! Oh well, don't feel like re-editing the photos right now.

A World of Compassion is a gorgeous grayed purple creme. This is one of my favorite colors! I just love the shade. I think it works on most skintones and is really almost a neutral in my book.

The formula on this one is perfection. I had no issues with it and it was nearly opaque in just one coat. I used two coats for good measure, of course. The finish is the perfect shiny creme. I am not sure you can see the shine factor in the photos (I need to get away from the window and back outside to take pics, they always came out better IMO) but trust me, it's shiny!

I am consistently impressed with this brand so if you haven't tried it you should!!

Slightly blurry but shows the color well without shadowing:

SPARITUAL: Health, Wealth, Happiness

Good morning everyone! I hope you're all having a great week, it's 1/2 over so hang in there if not.

Today I wanted to share a polish from SpaRitual, this color is called Health, Wealth, Happiness which is part of their Imagine collection.  Health, Wealth, Happiness is a gorgeous blue/purple duo chrome. Photos simply do not do it justice. In some lights it is a rich shade between royal and navy blue and it other lights is a deep royal purple. The duo chrome is just gorgeous and done right.

Application was slightly above average but it did take 3 coats for maximum opacity. I didn't have any issues with brush strokes which always makes me so happy when working with a shimmer/frost type color. I have said it before but I will say it again, nail polish brands are really stepping it up when it comes to this finish, they've come a long way; which is why it is so disappointing when we do come across a frost with massive brush strokes.

Honestly this color is one you really need to see in person. It's stunning, it really is. Sometimes, no matter how hard we try, we just cannot capture a color's true beauty in a photograph.  This is one of those times.

SpaRitual can be difficult to come across, it is typically found at spas, hence the name I guess. But if you can find some of their polishes I think you should pick one or two up because their good quality.

So what do you think?

SpaRitual: Shrewd

Good morning everyone! I hope all is well where ever you are. Today I have a polish from SpaRitual to share with you. This is Shrewd which is found in the "Earthy Low Notes" section of their website.  SpaRitual describes the polishes in that section as "deep browns and maroons" and I can see why this would be in that section. This is a cross between brown and purple. You'll see in the photos that the bottle looks brown but the polish on the nail looks much more purple to my eye.  Also in the bottle you can see a ton of silver shimmer sort of suspended in the middle. Shaking, rolling and shaking again did not disburse that suspended shimmer. I do not think it's presence altered the color of the polish though so it doesn't matter.
The formula on this was nice. I dried SUPER quickly which can be an issue if you're not a speedy polisher.  If you don't work fast the drying can really cause streaking and balding.  I didn't find it impossible to work around but you should be aware of that when applying because it could be an issue.  This is described as a shimmer and to me it's more of a frost. I know there's not much difference between frosts and shimmers but I think the difference should be noted.  I think it's easy to get brush strokes in this if you're not careful. So be careful!

Overall I think it's a good product if you watch out for the drying and brush strokes. I think the color is right on trend for fall and it reminds me of China Glaze Bogie from the Vintage Vixen Collection. They could be twins

What are your favorite SpaRitual polishes?

SpaRitual: Sage

Hi everyone! Sorry it's been a slow week in terms of swatches but I am a little behind on photos and of course it hasn't been sunny here in about a week. It's impossible to take good photos in this lighting so I am in a tough spot. These photos are ok, not the best, but it's the best I could do in the lighting.

This is SpaRitual Sage. It's a gorgeous creme taupe. I am not sure why it's called sage because it's not green but it's a really pretty color nonetheless. I can't get enough taupe. IDK what it is but it's just one of those colors I adore.

The formula on this is fantastic. This is the first polish I have tried by SpaRitual and I am impressed. It glided on perfectly, no streaks. It's not too thick, not too thin, it's just right. I really really liked it. I can't wait to try more from this line.

I apologize for the quality of these photos. Like I said, we haven't seen a sunny day here in about a week. Also my cuticles are super dry in this photo and for that I apologize also. Better than nothing but not the quality I would like to share with the world. Sorry all!

What are your favorite SpaRitual colors? I would love some reccommendations. I love cremes best! How about you?
