China Glaze: Ahoy!

Hi everyone! I hope you're all having  a great week. Today I wanted to share a color from the China Glaze Anchor's Away Collection called Ahoy!

Ahoy! is a sort of magenta hot pink with glass fleck shimmer. I think the glass like finish is beautiful and reminiscent of some  the OPI Burlesque  colors. The shimmer flecks are pink but maybe slightly gold in some lights. They add dimension to the polish.

The formula on this was a little difficult to work with. Now if you have been following me for a while  you know China Glaze is far and away my favorite nail polish brand so it pains me to say this was difficult to work with. It was just really thick and seemed to dry quickly, like during application. I am sure it has something to do with the finish or something. I think the beautiful finish is worth any hassle that comes along with it. It was not impossible to work with though and I think it cleaned up well, you can judge for yourself by the photos.

What do you think of Ahoy!? Do you plan to pick it up? I think it's a really beautiful color and will be especially fun in the summer.
