OPI: Did You 'Ear About Van Gogh? with Rockstar Nails: Retro Dots

Happy Wednesday everyone! I hope you're all having a better week than I am.  Oh well, it could be worse, right?

Today I have two colors to show you because I did a basic manicure with an accent nail last week, and I love how it looked. Simple but cool!

For this manicure I used OPI's Did You 'Ear About Van Gogh on all of my nails and then topped my ring finger nails with Retro Dots by Rockstar Nails. Rockstar nails is an Etsy store owned by a woman named Erika.  She had all sorts of amazing looking glitter polishes that I encourage you to check out! Retro Dots is a really interesting one,  it contains  tiny white and black hex glitters, small black square glitters, white hearts and black circles (all in a clear base).  I had a lot of fun with this. I did have a white heart piece on my other hand but not on this one. It applied with ease and was really a treat for the eyes. Retro Dots is $8.50 on Erika's Etsy store.

OPI's Did You 'Ear About Van Gogh is a gorgeous khaki nude color from OPI's Holland Collection. You know I love these colors. This one was especially nice and had a  perfect formula. After a while all of the nudes out there can start to look the same but there's something about this one I find just a bit unique though I can't put my finger on it. I love it. It's sure to have a permanent spot in my rotation.  There is just something about these colors that I love. I think they are professional with just the right amount of edge to keep it fun and modern.

What do you think about this manicure? What is your favorite nude color?
