TGIF! I hope you all had a nice day. Sorry this post is so late today, I went outlet shopping with my husband and just got home. LONG DAY! We got some great deals though. I got a $95 dress for $7.99, amazing right? Gotta love a bargain! The sun finally came out this week so I was able to get some good photos for the blog, YAY! Now if only I had time to swatch a head of time.
Today I want to show you Snakeskin by Color Club. This color is part of the Diamond set of the Untamed Luxury collection. This may be my favorite color of the entire collection, it is absolutely gorgeous.
Snakeskin is a charcoal gray with some gold microshimmer. It's beautiful, just beautiful. I find it to be a pretty unique color in my collection and I actually think it matches most things so can be viewed as sort of an edgy neutral.
The formula on this is quite nice. Sometimes I find Color Club a little hard to work with, some colors are so pigmented that they are thick but this one was really perfect. It went on smooth, no brush strokes, which I often get with simmers. I usually have tons of cleanup to do with dark colors and I didn't have to do much at all with this one. I was really really happy with the color and formula on this one. A+ in my book. Perfect for fall!
I took photos indoors and outdoors. I think the indoor photos came out great (for once LOL) and are really really color accurate. Enlarge photos to view shimmer.

Awwww really? It's so pretty! Isn't it insane how some colors work for us and some don't? I cannot pull off any peaches or raspberries. So sad!
