OPI: My Dogsled is a Hybrid

Hi everyone! I hope you're all doing well. Today I want to share a gorgeous new creme from OPI. This is My Dogsled is a Hybrid. Disclosure: This is a press sample.

I love this color. I think it's perfect for summer and right on into the fall. It's a gorgeous blue green creme and what I love about it is that it doesn't have too much white so it doesn't wash out my skin tone. Sometimes these Tiffany style blues can do that. Not the case here. This stays shiny and perfect. Love it!

Two coats for perfect coverage, no complaints at all about the formula. Love it.

What do you think about this one?

Let me know what you think of this one? I am a huge fan!

OPI: Amazon... Amazoff

Hello my lovely readers. First I want to say thanks for sticking around, I have been SO busy with work so I haven't been able to blog! Sorry about that but I am going to do my best to get my posts out to you. I am feeling rusty, in the photo department, so hang in there while I get back into the grove!

Today I want to show you a beauty from OPI that was sent for consideration. This is Amazon... Amazoff. It's a stunning deep emerald creme. I just adore this color! I got so many compliments on this! It may be slightly more green than my photos are showing. In some lights it's more blue. It's a real chameleon! I don't think I have anything in my collection this color. That always amazes me!! I pulled out Jade is the New Black to compare, but this is much more blue than that one.

The formula on this was great. OPI really does know how to make a creme and this one is no exception. It's not too thin, not too thick, it glided on perfectly. These photos are two coats with a top coat (Seche Vite). I wore this for an entire week, because I was lazy, and it wore really well!

What do you think of this one?! Did you pick it up? Do you plan to? Also, what have you all been up to!? What is your latest and greatest nail polish find?

Zoya: Brigitte (Naturel Collection)

Hi everyone! I hope you're having a nice weekend. Hubby and I will be cheering on the 49ers tonight! Who do you want to see in the Super Bowl?

Today I want to show you Zoya's Brigitte, which is from the Naturel collection. It's described as a full coverage mauve creme. While the formulas was great on this one, the color just is not for me. I just think there's something about the way the color looks on my skin that isn't right. Otherwise, it's a good polish, like most of what Zoya has to offer. I used two coats for full opacity with this one, which is great since the color is pretty soft.  Not every color can work on everyone, and that is ok!

Don't mind the smudge on the pointer. I hit my nails on the camera! Oops!

Have you tried this one? Does the color work on your skin tone? I would love to hear your experience with this one!

Zoya: Rocky

Hello beautiful people. It's been a while. So sorry! I have no good excuse to give you, I have just been busy with work. I am loving this job, it's challenging and rewarding. So sometimes I don't have time to post on here. I apologize.

Today I would like to show you Rocky by Zoya. This is a really beautiful robin's egg blue. No, it's not really a fall color, but I don't follow those rules and this one is too gorgeous not to share.

I used two coats for the opacity in the photos. You can see some bald spots, because I wasn't too careful with my application. I think you'd do best with three coats of this one. Other than that the formula is beautiful and the finish is super shiny. Love it!

What do you think of this one?

What are your favorite polishes for fall. I want to hear it! Sound off in the comments! Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you're all doing well!

Zoya: Louise

Hi all! Today I have a really nice fall color to share with you. I received this for review from Zoya. This is Louise. My grandmother's name was Louise so  that makes me smile!

This is a really shiny brown creme color. Like semi sweet chocolate. I love it! It's a really nice fall color and can look really chic! The formula was lovely. I used two coats for opacity and this glided on perfectly with no issues.

Pretty right? I know browns aren't everyone's cup of tea (hahaha get it, tea is brown) but I really do like this one! What do you think of Louise

Sinful Shine: Blue Suede Shoes and Nouveau Purple

Hello beauties! So sorry I have been slacking with the posting lately. I have been super busy. But here I am with TWO polishes to show you. The first, I bought, the second, was sent to me for review, both are from Sinful Colors' Sinful Shine line.

So first up is Blue Suede Shoes. I got this at Walgreens for around $3.99 (if I remember right, maybe $2.99). This is a really pretty dusty blue color with a creme finish. I love the look of this one, and I think it's quite nice for fall even though it's not a jewel tone like most fall colors tend to be.

The formula is thick and went on opaque in just two coats. I had no issues with application and these really do have a nice shine to them, as the name suggests. I did find that this color in particular wore for several days without chipping which is not always the case with most nail polish so I was impressed with that aspect for sure.

Next up is one of the shades the company sent me for review. This is Nouveau Purple and it's a rich, blackened royal purple creme. My photos are pulling it a bit blue, that always happens and I can't, for the life of me, figure out how to correct that, so just know that that color is a true royal purple, blue toned but not blue.

Formula was consistent with the formula of Blue Suede Shoe in that it was thick, but not too thick, and applied with no trouble. Opaque in just two coats this dark color was easy to apply and dried with a really beautiful high shine. Thumbs up!

So, if you've seen Sinful Shine polishes in the drugstore and haven't tried them yet, pick one up! I think they're a great "bang for your buck" polish. I have always been a fan of Sinful Colors and this expansion of the line is a welcome addition to the polishes with a true drugstore price point. These days, drugstore prices are skyrocketing and polish is just as expensive as salon brands, I appreciate that Sinful is making efforts to keep cost down while still providing a high quality product in relevant colors and finishes. Kudos Sinful!

Have you tried this line? What are your favorites?

Throwback! Essie: Lollipop

Throwback! Today I am taking you back in time a few years to show you one of my favorite polish purchases from the beginning of my nail polish obsession. This is the perfect candy apple red and I took it out in honor of the beginning of Fair Season here in Connecticut, because it reminds me of those oh-so-sweet treats. This is Essie's Lollipop and there simply isn't another red as perfect as she is. I am sure you've seen this color a million times before but I had to dust her off and show her some love because she's really pure perfection in my eyes.

Lollipop is a sheer, jelly, candy apply red with no shimmer. The shine on this polish is magnificent. I used three coats for the opacity shown and, while it is a jelly finish, it does get fairly opaque. I am a huge fan of the way this one just pops!

Do you love this one as much as I do? What's your favorite candy apple red?

Azature: Light Gray

Hello beauties. Ever fantasized about a nail polish full of diamonds? Well Azature is a brand known for creating a nail polish full of black diamonds, a $250,000.00 nail polish. Crazy extravagant. They've now launched a line of polishes, sans price tag, containing a single black diamond in each bottle. I had the chance to sample two colors and today I am going to show you Light Gray from the line. You can read more about the brand on their Facebook page.

Light Gray is exactly what the name implies. It's a light gray creme with no shimmer particles. I am a sucker for these shades and this one is very pretty.  This is a really pretty polish but nothing unique in the color area.  My swatch photos are not really up to snuff, so I apologize, IDK what the problem is with my camera lately.

Formula on this is rich and pigmented. It's nearly opaque in just one coat, but I did two for good measure.

This is a solid offering from the brand but at $25.00 a bottle it's certainly no friend to my wallet. I would consider shelling out the $25.00 for a truly unique color but for the everyday colors it's a little high for me. I guess they justify the price by telling you there's a real black diamond inside, and I am sure it's there but what good is it doing me in there? I would like to see it though. Someday when I finish the bottle I guess. LOL.

I hope you all had a nice weekend. Mine was low key and I got to spend a lot of time with my hubby so I can't complain. This coming weekend we have a wedding and a Christening *twins*, so we should be super busy. Can't wait! Hope the weather cooperates. It's cooling down here, which is nice, as long as it's not too cold!
