LynBDesigns (Etsy) Fun House Mirror and Piping Hot

Happy Friday everyone! Today I have two polishes by an Etsy seller named Jenna. Jenna sent me these polishes for review back in August and it's taken me AGES to get my review up. So sorry Jenna! Jenna's store is LynBDesigns and she has TONS of awesome creative nail polishes for sale for $8.50 each. Her glitter polishes are absolutely stunning and unique.  Here are the two I tried:

First up is Fun House Mirror (LOVE THE NAME!) It's a sheer light gray packed with chunky silver glitter and smaller multicolored glitter pieces. My photos show it at two coats but it can probably benefit from three, but two is a-ok if you're in a rush, it's almost fully opaque.  I found it easy to apply but had a tough time getting the larger glitter particles to evenly disburse, so take your time applying for best results.

Next up is Piping Hot which is a bright cherry red color packed with large silver and red glitter chunks and also smaller multicolored glitter and some silver string glitter.  This is STUNNING and I think would be amazing for Christmas.  It's got so many cool things going on with it and it's unlike any color I have in my collection.

What do you think of these unique glitter polishes? I love handmade items from small sellers.  Check out Jenna's Etsy store and let me know which polishes you like best!

OPI: Unfor-Greta-Bly Blue (and some crafting)

Hello my friends! I hope you're having a great week!! Today I have another color from OPI's Germany collection to share. This is Unfor-Greta-Bly Blue and it's a shimmery navy blue color.  I don't often go for colors like this, I am not sure why, but this one really is pretty!

The formula was typical OPI goodness. I didn't  have issues with streaks at all which is always wonderful when you have a sort of frosty shimmer thing going on.  I used two coats for full opacity and had no issues with visible nail line at all.

What do you think of this one?

So what have you all been doing to get into the fall spirit? I love fall and it's particularly beautiful here in New England, well, when it's not raining that is. It's been raining all week! But the leaves are turning and the air is crisp so I can't complain too much.

Last Friday I got together with my two of my girl friends and we had a craft night at my neighbor's house! It was so fun! We have "Kraft" mac and cheese and a "carafe" of wine to keep with the craft theme! We made "glam pumpkins" inspired by a pumpkin on Pinterest.  My friend Lisa gave them fabulous (and hilarious) names (see below). I have  mine on my kitchen table at home now. I love how it came out!

How cute right?! I think they're all fabulous!!!! Have you done any crafting this fall? What have you made?!

OPI: Pink of Hearts 2012 Duo Set Featuring "I Think In Pink" & "You Glitter Be Good to Me" for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Hi everyone! I cannot believe it's October already. I am so sorry I did not post much in September but now that I have the new camera I will be sure to post more.

Today I have two polishes to show you which are from OPI's Pink of Hearts Duo Set in support of Breast Cancer Awareness. October is Beast Cancer Awareness Month so be sure to rock your pink whenever you can.

The polishes in this set are I Think in Pink which is a gorgeous semi sheer pink creme and You Glitter Be Good to Me which is a glitter polish made up of tiny silver glitter paticles and larger fuchsia glitter specks. I Think in Pink is a great bubblegum pink. I love the formula on this one. It's not quite a jelly but it is semi sheer (buildable to opaque like I am wearing in, in three coats). I really love the high shine finish of this one.

What do you think of these beauties? How will you be supporting Breast Cancer Awareness this month?
